As any bargain-hunter knows, “vintage” sounds sexier if you pronounce it with a French accent. If none of these stores suit your child’s impeccable taste, there’s always the Internet for a wider selection. The ever-popular eBay has everything for every developmental age, right up to the point where you’re back in diapers again. Make sure that the seller agrees to ship with a delivery confirmation to Russia, because the website won’t be take responsibility if a disgruntled postal employee hijacks the goods while they’re en route to you. If your child is old enough to form his or her own thoughts and words, you may want to let them sit in on the selection process. Brought something home that was clearly the wrong choice?
